Confluence and Notion are documentation tools where you manually write and organize content. Fenlo connects to those tools (and 50+ others) and automatically indexes what already exists. Fenlo connects to 50+ tools including Slack, Google Drive, Confluence, Notion, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira, Linear, Asana, ClickUp, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, Freshdesk, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Gmail, IMAP, Dropbox, SharePoint, and more. We also provide an ingestion API for custom or unsupported sources.

You ask a question in natural language. Fenlo searches your connected sources using both semantic (meaning-based) and keyword search, finds the most relevant content, and generates an answer with citations linking back to the source documents. Every response includes links so you can verify the answer against the original.

Personas are configurable AI assistants scoped to specific document sets, teams, or knowledge domains. For example, you can create a 'Security Policies' persona that only searches your security documentation, or a 'New Hire Onboarding' persona that searches your onboarding guides. Each persona has its own system prompt, document scope, and available tools.

Yes. When you connect a source in sync mode, Fenlo replicates the permission structure from that source. Users only see documents they are authorized to access in the original tool. You can also set connectors to public mode for shared knowledge bases.

The ingestion API lets you push documents from custom or unsupported sources into Fenlo's search index. You send documents via a REST API, and they become searchable alongside content from your other connected sources.

During indexing, Fenlo uses vision-capable AI models to generate text summaries of images. For code files (from GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket), Fenlo indexes the file content and generates AI summaries. Both become searchable alongside regular documents.

Sign up, create your organization, and connect your first integration. Fenlo will begin indexing content from that source. You can connect additional sources from the dashboard at any time. Most teams are up and running within minutes.

The Free plan supports up to 4 connectors. Pro and Enterprise plans support unlimited connectors across 50+ supported tools.

Fenlo periodically polls connected sources for new and updated content. It also prunes documents that have been removed from the source. Sync frequency is configurable per connector.

Yes. You can disconnect any integration from the Fenlo dashboard at any time. When a source is disconnected, its indexed content is removed from Fenlo.

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Each organization's data is isolated in a dedicated PostgreSQL schema. OAuth tokens and connector credentials are encrypted at the application level. API keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes.

No. We never use your content to train general-purpose AI models. Our AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini) are contractually prohibited from using your data for model training. Your content is processed to generate responses but is not retained by these providers.

Only authenticated members of your organization. Data is isolated at the database level, so cross-tenant access is not possible. Within your organization, document-level permissions are synced from your connected sources, so users only see what they are authorized to access.

Fenlo indexes document content from your connected sources, including code files. Content is chunked, embedded into vector representations, and stored for search. When you disconnect a source, its indexed content is removed.

Yes. We provide data export, account deletion, data portability, and audit logging. Enterprise customers can execute a Data Processing Agreement (DPA). We maintain a list of sub-processors and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures for data protection.

Enterprise includes everything in Pro, plus SSO (SAML/OIDC), RBAC with custom roles, SCIM/Group Sync, audit logs, premium AI models (Claude, Gemini, GPT), unlimited documents, configurable usage limits, hook extensions, white-labeling, and priority support with SLAs.

Yes. Enterprise supports both SAML 2.0 and OIDC protocols. We integrate with Google Workspace, Okta, Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID), Auth0, and any SAML/OIDC-compliant identity provider.

Fenlo provides built-in roles (Basic, Admin, Curator) and custom roles with granular permissions. You can control access at the organization, connector, document, and persona levels. Document-level permissions are synced from your connected source applications.

Fenlo is primarily offered as a managed SaaS product, hosted and run by Fenlo. A licensed self-hosted deployment is available for Enterprise customers with on-premise or BYOC requirements. Contact sales to discuss your deployment.

Fenlo is pursuing SOC 2 Type II certification (target Q3 2026). We implement controls for GDPR compliance, including audit logging, access controls, encryption, and data processing agreements. Enterprise customers can request current security documentation.

Fenlo offers three plans: Free ($0 forever, up to 3 team members, 4 connectors, 5K documents, BYOK required), Pro ($21/seat/month or $16/seat/month billed annually), and Enterprise ($33/seat/month or $25/seat/month billed annually). See the pricing page for full details.

Yes. The Free plan lets you use Fenlo with up to 3 team members, 4 connectors, and 5K documents at no cost. You can upgrade to Pro or Enterprise at any time.

Organization admins can invite members from the Team Management page in the dashboard. You can send invitations via email or share a secure invite link.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your account settings. Changes are prorated.
